Description

This is the picture of Palomar 2 with the C11.  I was lucky with the seeing on that day. Palomar  GC are usually very small and can be barely resolved.
Palomar 2  is one of a group of 15 globular clusters from the survey plates of the Palomar Observatory Sky Survey in the 1950’s.
Palomar 2 is about 90,000 to 100.000 light years away. It has an apparent magnitude of 13.04 where the brightest stars are 18 mag. Information of diameter varies between 1,7 and 2.1 arcmin only!
