Description

Last Year I imaged this with my Mono Camera, I wanted to image it with my OSC.
  • The Horsehead Nebula IC-434 Barnard 33
  • IC 434 is a Bright Emission Nebula in the constellation of Orion.
  • IC 434's distance from Earth is 1,500.00 light years away in the constellation of Orion.
  • It is referred to as IC434 which is short for Index Catalogue number 434. The Index Catalogue is an update to the earlier NGC catalogue.
  • It can't been sent with the naked eye, it requires a 7x50 binoculars at a minimum to be able to see it, visual magnitude +7.3.
  • IC 434 was discovered in 1786 by Sir William Herschel.
