Description

A close up of the sunspot that has been sending nonstop M-class and X-class solar flares. This is the same as AR3664 (it gets a new number every time it rotates into view), the sunspot responsible for the massive geomagnetic storm experienced the evening of May 10th and the morning of May 11th (2024). It is still very active but is rotating out of view. Will it return for a third time?
