Description

Probably a bit late in the game, but still in time to capture this lovely supernova at reasonable good brightness. When comparing with an image from 2019, the SN shines as a new little pearl on the galaxy's spiral arm. Most of what we image appears very static from the imagers perspective, making changing/moving objects so much more impressive to observe.

The image was also first light of my new CDK14 telescope. No collimation yet, flat panel still on order, no real darkness at my altitude at the moment (SQM 18.5), only three hours of exposure, so the image is far from perfect. But the detail (compared to the 2019 image) looks promising.
