LRGB dataset:
L: 25 x 300s
R: 24 x 300s
G: 24 x 300s
B: 24 x 300s

Centaurus A is one of the most lovely and enigmatic galaxies in the sky. Even short exposures reveal the wonderful structure in the core, caused by the collision of a massive elliptical galaxy with one, or possibly two, smaller spiral galaxies.

This deep dataset reveals the results of that collision, with extensive shells of stars ejected radially from the galaxies as well as a jet of material towards the upper left.

Data acquisition: 10th-12th February 2023
