Description

We all know the open star cluster M 45 Plejarden with its young hot stars.
If the dinosaurs had been astronomy, they would certainly have been denied this sight. The seven brightest stars stimulate the surrounding dust to shine. With a good telescope under a very dark night sky, these reflections are barely visible. The new SPCC color calibration in PixInsight is a fantastic innovation in image processing. In order to get a natural color impression of the stars, I applied the white reference B8V of the brightest Plejard stars to the image.
