King 13 is a small (5') and dim (12-14 Mag) open cluster in the constellation of Cassiopeia. Brightest stars of the cluster are only 12 Mag. King 13 is at about 1.7-3.1 kpc away and is a relatively old open cluster (300-600 Myr). King 13 has lesser than 50 stars. King 13 is a Trumpler class II-2-m open cluster.
Berkeley 1 is a Trumpler class IV-2-p open cluster located approximately 7,900 light-years away in Cassiopeia. This is the first of one hundred four open clusters identified by Gosta Lynga and Jiri Alter in 1958. Distance to Berkeley 60, which is also in the field, is a Trumpler also class IV-2-p open cluster approximately 12,100 light-years away in Cassiopeia.
This image was recently acquired for Astronomical Legue program. This image has substantial SNR of >500.

Standard linear HT stretching for RGB
Noise XT and then HT stretch again for RGB

Yellow and Blue masks were used to saturate and slightly enhance red-yellow and white-blue stars, respectively.

Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
