Description

Faint comets also deserve attention, they are interesting as well. Comet 253P/PANSTARRS has passed perihelion on Oct. 20, 2024 and now it is fading. According to forecasts it will fade down to 20 mag by April this year, but it will be difficult to detect long before as comet becomes very diffuse.
