Could you please check out my image? https://astrob.in/6mxb8d/0/ I believe that 49Cyg (double star) has a weird planetary nebula shape (e.g. like the dumbbell nebula). Is this an acquisition/processing artifact due to diffraction or due to the limited resolution of the scope + color camera combination? I haven´t seen anything like this effect before on any of my previous images. Raw undebayered data:  |
