Description

Comet Neowise was very low on the NW horizon tonight, and there were lots of clouds but I managed to get 4 subs of 20 that had anything on them. The rest of the subs were dark (i.e. clouds). The sky was filled with those beautiful sunset clouds, but unfortunately they were in the way most of the night.

I had to set up the Celestron CGEM mount with the ES ED80CF on it, the dome had no access, but the CGEM had a view from the back of the yard. The dome and large mount should have a view within a week.

This comet is very bright, and if you have a view to the NW sky just after sunset, you should see it naked eye (i.e. no telescope). A binocular would help if you have one. Don't use a binocular or telescope until the sun is well past sunset.
