Description

Complicated field around the star F Puppis, an area dominated by gas and a dark nebula, [DB2002b] G251.69-12.17 -- Dark Cloud (nebula). The dark nebula appear in a kind of dark greenish colour and is not easy to determine its extension. Also close to the star F-Pup it seems to be another small brown dark zone. It would be interesting to image the area with another larger tube.

The image is also quite noisy, the weather was not helping, it was quite misty and the data was taken trough 3 consecutive nights as the clouds came in, a bit after midnight, every day. Dew point was quite high.
I am waiting to improve the weather, to double the integration time, and see if the funny greenish changes into a darker colour, also with less contribution from LP.

I kept almost identical stretching process and colour treatment, as in other images, so I found weird the colours here, except for the increase in LP, as with poor seeing due to misty conditions makes the sky very bright by the lights of the city, and from the nearby industrial sites (that enjoy illuminating the sky rather than the ground).
