Description

The globular cluster Messier 5 (NGC 5904), in the constellation Serpens, is one of the finest in the sky. Globular Clusters are the dense and compact cluster of stars orbiting the galactic core. They comprise of old stars which are tightly bound by gravity, giving it a spherical shape. The M - 5 Globular cluster has a diameter of about 164 Light Years and it is 24000 Light Years away from us
