Description

I've been running the ONTC Newt solely on SH2-174 for a few weeks (clouds permitting!) and didn't realize I had accumulated over 40 hours on it - so time to process!

The nebulosity is almost totally Ha and OIII, although it does show faintly in the RGB frames.  I did shoot L as well, but it didn't add much so I left it out of processing.

My workflow:
All frames:  calibrate with gess and Siril, register and stack in WBPP
RGB linear: Dynamic crop, GradX, ImageSolver, ChanComb, SPCC, BlurXT, NoiseXT
HO linear: Dynamic crop, GradX, ImageSolver, NBColourMapper, BlurXT, NoiseXT
StarXT on both to get RGB stars and starless HO
Stretched both with Seti Astro's StatisticalStretch
Reduced RGB stars with Mike Cranfield's StarReduction script
Darkened RGB stars background with HistoTrans
LHE and HDRMT on HO
Added reduced RGB stars to HO with Combine RGB and Narrowband script
Color saturation boost with Curves

Done!

Constructive criticism and comments always welcome.  Thanks for stopping by.
