Description

Observing near full Moon accompanied by Saturn rising over the cityscape of Chicago, IL on Aug 20, 2024. Captured with Pentax K-1 camera on a tripod: F=63mm f/4 ISO200 0.5sec exposure for the wide angle view in original revision (note that Saturn is visible even in that wide angle view in full resolution image) plus F=300mm f/4 ISO100 0.16sec exposure for the close-up in revision B. Moon is with 97% disk illumination, Saturn is at +0.69m, 8.7 AU away and with 19 arc.sec angular limb diameter.
