Description

Sh2-49/ Messier 16/NGC6611 The Eagle nebula AKA The Star Queen nebula
A well known object due to the famous image of the Hubble space telescope of the Pillars of Creation inside M16 The Eagle nebula,  AKA Star Queen nebula, about 5700 lightyears away.
The nebula is a HII Region with the famous  «Pillars of Creation», a star forming region
Messier 16 and NGC 6611 refers to the nebula and the open clusters of stars in the center and Sh2-49 refers to the nebula .
The night skies are getting darker and astronomical dark will occur around August 20, but still surfing the horizon while I am still in the astronomical twilight zone.
I wanted to get more data but with a little over one hour of imaging each clear night I find it more effective to go for object higher in the sky where I just now can get more than 2,5hrs of useful data.
This is the best I can do with this set of photons, hope you like the result
